Dr. Kurtisha is passionate about empowering individuals to become their strongest, most confident selves. With five years as a licensed clinician and over a decade in physical therapy and fitness spaces, she is dedicated to helping clients achieve their wellness goals.
While earning her degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Dr. Kurtisha worked as a trainer for the UT football team. She later moved to Chattanooga to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, where she met her husband (in a gym, of course). After graduation, she became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Owning her own physical therapy practice in a gym setting has been a long-standing dream, and she is thrilled to now see it come to life alongside her best friend. She loves working with active adults and adolescents, and gets especially excited to teach a woman how to use a barbell for the first time.
In her spare time, Dr. Kurtisha enjoys weightlifting, walking her dog, traveling, and cozying up with a blanket and a rom-com.

You've got to take control of your own health. I can help guide you in doing that, but I can't do it for you.
